At this
time, we do not have permission to start the 2020-2021 winter/fall
season. The schedule below was for our program last school year.
Although it provides a look into what last school years schedule was and
what we would normally run, if we are allowed to have swim club this
coming year, the schedule will likely look different. Hopefully by the
end of September 2020 we will have a better idea and will be able to provide
the layout of our program. I hope everyone is doing well!
The Ladue Swim Club is a fun, non-competitive organization open to swimmers 5-14 years old that have not begun high school. It is required that children ages 5 – 7 years old be able to swim 25 yards of crawl stroke and 25 yards of backstroke without stopping to participate. If swimmers are not able to swim an unassisted and continuous length of freestyle, they should take lessons before beginning swim club. Swimmers 8 years and older should be able to swim 25 yards of crawl, back, breast, and butterfly strokes. The Winter 2019-2020 session will be limited to 50 swimmers per age group.
Swim club is designed to provide healthy activity and to help swimmers improve their strokes.
Currently there are no swim meets scheduled.
The
swim club practices at Ladue Horton Watkins High School, 1201 South Warson Road, on
Tuesdays and Thursdays in 50-minute sessions, starting November 7th, 2019. There are also some Saturday sessions in the winter. This session will run through March 10th, 2020.
Swim
club will not meet during inclement weather.

for closing information. If the District
is closed for weather or other events, there will not be Swim Club. Occasionally, we move the starting time back for swim club because of high school or other pool events. Generally when needed practice groups will begin a 1/2 hour late. Swimmers parents will be notified in advance.
